Due to the delayed wet season, the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley have extended the restricted burning time.
Burning permits are still required up to and including the 28th January 2024.
A Permit can be requested through the Shire, though are evaluated individually and may not be issued under certain circumstances. Please visit https://www.sdwk.wa.gov.au/services/ranger-services/bushfire-management.aspx to apply for a permit, otherwise contact the Shire offices on 9191 0999.
