The Shire's Environmental Health team is responsible for the design approval and subsequent inspection of all on-site effluent disposal systems within the Shire.
Fees for effluent disposal system applications are set in the Health (Treatment of Sewage and Disposal of Effluent and Liquid Waste) Regulations 1974. All fees (with the exception of the Health Department of WA application fee) should be made payable to the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley.
