Derby Memorial Swimming Pool
Located on Cnr of Johnston and Clarendon Street in Derby, the Derby Memorial Swimming Pool was built by community members in the early 1980's. There is an outdoor 25 meter pool with 6 lanes as well as toddler pool, splash park, BBQ and party facilities, family friendly change rooms and accessibility features including pool hoist with platform, wheelchair and sling capabilities.

Derby Recreation Centre
The Derby Recreation Centre is located at the southern end of Ashley Street and incorporates two undercover multipurpose courts that can be used for basketball, netball, volleyball and tennis as well as the indoor recreation centre that includes squash courts, community room, storage cages, kitchen and office space. Chairs and trestle tables are included in the facility booking fee. This equipment is not available for hire outside of Council facilities.

Civic Centre
The Derby Civic Centre located on Loch Street is a large venue, able to cater for up to 400 people. The space caters for a wide range of activities and functions including public meetings, community events, private celebrations and more. The facility is equipped with an elevated stage, commercial kitchen, bar service area and multiple storage spaces. The main hall area incorporates two spacious outdoor settings leading to open grassed areas. Tables and chairs are available for use and are included in the facility booking fee, please contact us for more information.

Council Chambers
Located inside the Derby Public Library building, the Derby Council Chambers is a small-medium venue with kitchen facilities, computer and screens for video conferencing purposes as well as air conditioning. The space is utilised by the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley monthly Council Meetings and is set up boardroom style with audience chairs, perfect for meetings or gatherings up to 50 people.
Derby Wharf deck undercover area
Located at the end of Jetty Road, adjacent to the Wharf, this area offers an undercover deck overlooking the Derby Jetty, suitable for small gatherings. The space is adjacent to public toilets and plenty of parking.
Derby Youth Centre
The Derby Youth Centre provides a safe space for the young people of the community for activities and events. The area includes toilets, indoor and outdoor areas as well as shady grassed areas.

Derby Oval
Nicholson Square (also known as Derby Oval) is located on Loch Street and offers a large open, grassed area that facilitates various sporting games, including men's and women's AFL and soccer. The Oval also has changerooms available for hire. .

Fitzroy Crossing Recreation Centre
The Fitzroy Crossing Recreation Centre offers a diverse facility including kitchen facilities, toilets, tables and chairs. The Recreation Centre hosts many events and community gatherings and is located within the Recreation Precinct, with the courts, playgrounds, oval and canteen nearby.
Fitzroy Crossing Courts
The Fitzroy Crossing courts offers space for basketball, netball, tennis and other games in a shady area.
Fitzroy Crossing Canteen and Change Rooms
The Fitzroy Crossing Recreation Precinct has canteen facilities including kitchen and cooking capabilities, as well as change rooms and toilets.
Fitzroy Crossing Oval
Hosting local footy games and events, the Fitzroy Crossing Oval offers a large grassed area with shade and lighting.
