Australian Defence Force personnel will conduct military training in and around Derby from 12 to 28 July 2024.
Exercise Austral Shield 2024 will be conducted during the day and night.
You may hear and see military vehicles, watercraft, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as military personnel carrying weapons and using blank ammunition.
You should not be alarmed if you hear or see any of the above.
Defence Australia is working closely with the WA Government, Kimberley District - WA Police Force media outlets and other emergency services to keep you informed of what is occurring and when it is occurring. Keep an eye on our page for updates.
